RFRI Jobs Notification:  

Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Assam will be conducting Walk –in- Interview and invited eligible candidates to appear for the Walk –in- Interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Field Assistant for various projects under Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE). Posts are purely on Contractual Basis for specific period of time and co- terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on 28 December 2016 (Wednesday) at 10:30 AM onwards in the office of the Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Deovan, Jorhat - 785 001, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria for RFRI JRF and Field Assistant Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Possess Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in the respective discipline of Botany or Life Science with concerned specialization.
2. Field Assistant: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the Zoology.

Age Limit:

Gen: as on 01 December 2016.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Field Assistant: 28 years.

OBC: Relaxation of 03 years.

SC/ ST: Relaxation of 05 years.

PWD & Others: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for RFRI JRF and Field Assistant Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Walk –in- Interview/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.

Eligible candidates may appear for Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on 28 December 2016 (Wednesday) at 10:30 AM onwards in the office of the Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Deovan, Jorhat - 785 001, Assam. Candidates has to appear for the Interview on the said date along with the filled in application form in the prescribed format, a complete Bio- data and the other necessary required documents which will submitted between 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM and original documents as well which can be verified at the time of Interview.
