How to Apply Online for RRB ALP 2025?
Candidates must follow these steps to apply online for the RRB ALP post:
- Visit the official website rrbapply.gov.in.
- Click on the “Recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)” and a new page appears.
- Create an account if you are a New User.
- Generate your Login ID and Password.
- Using the Mobile Number/email ID and password, login to your account.
- Now Select the RRB where you want to apply and select the posts and zones under the chosen RRB.
- Now enter the other essential details like the educational qualifications,etc.
- Upload the necessary documents like marksheets, photographs, and signatures.
- Candidates must select the trade for Part B of CBT-2, indicate their order of post preference, and complete the declaration form.
- After filling all the necessary details click on the “Submit” button and preview the application form. After reviewing all the details properly, candidates must go for “Final Submission”.
- Candidates can take the print of their application for future reference.

RRB ALP Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

RRB ALP Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)
The age of candidates should be between 18 to 30 years as of 1st July 2025. The permissible date of birth range for different categories is provided below:

RRB ALP Physical and Medical Standard Requirement
Candidates must meet the required physical and medical standards for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot. These include overall physical fitness and visual acuity under Medical Standard A-1.
