SBI PO 2016: Notification Out for 2200 Probationary Officers Posts, Apply by 24 May

State Bank of India, Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Corporate Centre, Mumbai invited applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of Probationary Officers. Eligible candidates can apply to the post on or before 24 May 2016.

SBI Job Notification:

State Bank of India (SBI), Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Corporate Centre, Mumbai invited applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of Probationary Officers (POs). The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 24 May 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for SBI Probationary Officers Jobs: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31August 2016. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2016. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.

Age Limit for SBI Probationary Officers Jobs: Not below 21 years and not above 30 years. Relaxations are given below as per categories.

• SC : 05 Years

• OBC : 03 Years

• PWD:

1. PWD (SC/ST)-15 Years

2. PWD (OBC)- 13 Years

3. PWD (Gen)- 10 Years

• Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs)- 05 years

• Persons ordinarily domiciled of the state of Jammu & Kashmir - 05 years

Selection Procedure for SBI Probationary Officers Jobs:

The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of two phase examination i.e., Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination. After the examination, shortlisted candidates would be required to go through group discussion, interview and document verification.

• Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: The examination would be of objective type and would be of one hour duration.
