Scholarship for Research in the United Kingdom

Scholarships are being offered to Goan students for higher studies in the United Kingdom. Last date for applying is May 30, 2011

Goa Education Trust and De Souza Trust Goa are offering scholarships to young enterprising Goan students to pursue their post graduate studies or research fellowships in the United Kingdom in all spheres, fields and departments. The scholarship is offered to pursue an academic course for up to one year.

Financial support: Part time or full time scholarships will be offered to short listed candidates after the personal interview. All costs related to the interviews such as travel and accommodation will have to be borne by the candidate.

Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of Goa or born to Goan parents and should have a valid Indian passport. Candidates should be graduates and should have admission in an academic course. The age criteria is under 30.

Procedure: Applicants must register themselves on the website and complete the application form online. After submitting the application, two hard copies of the reference letters and a copy of the offer letter from a UK institute should be sent to the trust.
