Seventh Cut-Off by DU, few courses left for admissions

    On 18 July Delhi University announced its seventh cut-off list for admission to various undergraduate courses for the new academic session starting this year. Very few colleges are still open up with the admission process for only some courses to offer.

    The seventh cut-off list saw very few colleges opened up for science courses. Few seats are available for at Maharaja Agrasen, Matreyi and Miranada House for BSc Physical Science, and Sri Venketeshwara College is left over with few seats for BSc Bio Science.

    In comparison to the science subject courses, arts and commerce have still few courses to offer by the notable colleges. ARSD College has seats available for BA Economics Hons with percentage ranging from 94-95.75%. Ramanujan (82.5-83) and Lakshmi Bai college (81) is still offering admission for BA Political Science course. Hansraj (92.5-94.5), IP College (84.5-89) and Kamla Nehru (92.5-94.5) are open up with BA History Hons for this academic session.

    For English (H) courses you can reach Hansraj (94.25-96), Hindu (93.5-94.75), Deen Dayal Upadhyay College (87) and Satyavati College (91-92.5) for admissions.

    The colleges who have closed down admission for this academic year are Gargi, SGBT Khalsa and Lady Irwin College.

    Students who still want to take admission in the few left over courses should directly contact the colleges for admission. The admission process will continue till 19 July 2014 as per the seventh cut-off list.
