Government Medical College, Nalhar, Mewat under Government of Haryana invited applications for filling up 20 faculty and non-faculty vacancies of Medical Superintendent, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Medical Officer through direct recruitment. I. Medical Superintendent: 1 post
Qualification: Master of Hospital Administration or MS/ MD or equivalent qualifications; minimum 2 years experience as Medical Superintendent of a hospital or 5 years as Deputy Medical Superintendent; completed 10 years service after MBBS & 5 years after MS/ MD or equivalent qualification OR Professor of a Clinical Department of Medical College for 5 years; standing with experience of Hospital Administration. 0
Preference will be given to the candidate having minimum 10 years of administrative experience
Pay Scale: Rs.37400- 67000 + GP of Rs.10000 pm + other permissible allowances.
II. Professor: 8 posts
a. General Medicine: 1 post
b. General Surgery: 2 posts
c. Orthopaedics: 1 post
d. Obst. & Gyane: 1 post
e. Anaesthesia: 1 post
f. Radio-diagnosis: 1 post
g. Community Medicine: 1 post
Qualification: MD/ MS or equivalent post graduate qualification in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400- 67000 + GP of Rs.10000 pm + other permissible allowances.
III. Associate Professor: 6 posts
a. General Medicine: 2 posts
b. Orthopaedics: 1 post
c. Community Medicine: 2 posts
d. Radio-diagnosis: 1 post
Qualification: MD/ MS or equivalent post graduate qualification in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400- 67000 + GP of Rs.8700 pm + other permissible allowances.
IV. Assistant Professor: 4 posts
a. General Medicine: 1 post
b. General Surgery: 1 post
c. Radio-diagnosis: 1 post
d. Obst. & Gyane: 1 post
Qualification: MD/ MS or equivalent post graduate qualification in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600- 39100 + GP of Rs.6600 pm + other permissible allowances. .
V. Medical Officer (Non-Promotional): 1 post
a. Maternity and Child Welfare Officer cum Lecturer: 1 post
Qualification: DGO; candidates with Postgraduate qualification in Obst. & Gynae. (DNB/ MD/ MS) will be preferred.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300- 34800 + GP of Rs.5400 pm + other permissible allowances. .
Upper age limit:
Professor: less than 62 years.
Associate and Assistant professor: less than 50 years.
Senior Resident: less than 40 years.
[Candidates above 62 years of age would be considered for contractual appointments for a period of initially one year further extendable on year to year basis.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the interview.
