Eligibility Criteria for Professors and Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification

• Professors- Qualification as prescribed for the post of Associate Professor. Post Ph.D publications and guiding Ph.D student is highly desirable
• Associate Professors- In addition to the qualifications prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor (Junior) Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline is essential Post Ph.D publications and guiding Ph.D student is highly desirable
• Assistant Professors (Junior)- B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech
• Assistant Professors (Senior)- In addition to the qualifications prescribed for the post of Asst. Prof. (Junior), Ph.D. in concerned discipline and publications in journals and books is desirable
• Academic Consultants in Engineering & Technology- Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applicable) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject.

Nursing

• Associate Professor: M.Sc. Nursing with 7-8 years of teaching experience
• Assistant Professor: M.Sc. Nursing with specialty of Community,Med. Surg., OBG & Mental Health Nursing with 3 years of speciality teaching experience.
• Lecturer: M.Sc. Nursing with specialty of Child Health, Nursing and Mental Health Nursing with 0-3 years of teaching experience.
• Tutors: B.Sc (Nursing) with 1 year of teaching experience.

 Specializations required for some of the disciplines are given below:

• Applied Mathematics: Fluid Mechanics, Graph Theory, Algebra
• Fashion Technology and Apparel Designing: M.Sc. Textiles and Clothing/ Master of Fashion Technology/M.A/M.Sc in Fashion Technology and Apparel Designing/M.Sc. Bio Textiles/Textiles and Clothing/MBA with Diploma in Fashion Technology Designing. Experience in teaching FTAD and Boutique/Unit (for handling Management/Entrepreneurship/Business Communication) is desirable.
• Nutrition and Healthcare Sciences: M.Sc., Ph.D. in Food and Nutrition Sciences/M.Sc. Ph.D. in Nursing with experience in Teaching/Training; M.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry/Masters in Medical Lab Technology with experience in Teaching/training.
• M.Sc. Integrated Food Technology: M.Sc, Ph.D. Food Science and Nutrition B.Tech., M.Tech. Food Technology.
• Pharmacy: Pharmaceutical Analysis/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology. Preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates. Environmental Sciences: M.Tech/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/M.Sc. Microbiology/M.Sc. Chemistry
• Business Management: Marketing/HR/Systems/Finance/Production Management
• Education and Directorate of Distance Education: M.Sc Psychology with M.Ed. M.A (Philosophy/Sociology) with M.Ed. M.Sc. (Mathematics) with M.Ed. M.Sc (Physical Sciences/Chemistry) with M.Ed. M.A. (Telugu) with M.Ed. M.A (Political Science/Economics/History/Geography/Public Administration) with M.Ed. M.Sc (Zoology/Botany/|Microbiology) with M.Ed. M.A. (English) with M.Ed. M.A./M.Sc. with M.Ed./M.Ed. Spl.(H.I)
• Physical Education: Athletics/Ball Badminton/Shuttle Badminton/Hockey/Foot Ball/Kabaddi/ KhoKho/Cricket/Basket Ball/Volley Ball/Hand Ball and Throw Ball etc.
