SSC JHT 2017: Name of posts, pay scale, and vacancies

SSC JHT 2017As SSC has started accepting application for the recruitment of Junior & Senior Hindi translator and Hindi Pradhyapak from 15.04.2017 online. The closing date of accepting application will be 05.05.2017. The staff selection commission will hold an open competitive computer based examination for the joint recruitment of the above stated posts. The details of which are as under: -

SSC JHT: Posts, departments and pay band

SSC has classified the posts into six segments as Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted posts. Let us have detailed information of it.

  1. Junior Hindi translator in central secretariat official language service (CSOLS)
    1. Post code: - A
    2. Pay scale: - Level-6
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 35,400-112,400
  2. Junior Hindi translator in M/o Railways
    1. Post code: - B
    2. Pay scale: - Level-6
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 35,400-112,400
  3. Junior Hindi translator in Armed forces headquarters
    1. Post code: - C
    2. Pay scale: - Level-6
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 35,400-112,400
  4. Junior Hindi translator in Sub-ordinate offices who have adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT
    1. Post code: - D
    2. Pay scale: - Level-6
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 35,400-112,400
  5. Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/Offices
    1. Post code: - E
    2. Pay scale: - Level-7
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 44,900-142,400
  6. Junior Hindi translator in Sub-ordinate offices excluding RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT
    1. Post code: - F
    2. Pay scale: - Level-6
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 35,400-112,400
  7. Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute (CHTI)
    1. Post code: - G
    2. Pay scale: - Level-8
    3. Pay band: - Rs. 47,600-1,51,100

The above-discussed posts are filled for general and reserved categories both. The reservation criteria are decided as stated below.

  1. SC/ST/OBC/PHs reservation is same as per extant government orders.
  2. JHT/JT and Senior Hindi translator – One Arm (OA), One Leg (OL), One Arm & Leg (OAL), both legs (BL), Both Legs & One Arm (BLOA), Blind (B), Low Vision (LV), and Hearing Handicapped (HH) are identified suitable as per the guidelines.
  3. Hindi Pradhyapak - One Arm (OA), One Leg (OL), One Arm & Leg (OAL), Both legs (BL), Blind (B), Low Vision (LV) are found suitable for this post. BLOA and HH candidates are not considered for reservation under this post.

Apart from this, a candidate must pursue the following nationality only as per the government norms and produce the respective certificates or proofs issued by the competent authority.

A candidate must be a-

  1. A citizen of India, or
  2. A subject of Nepal, or
  3. A subject of Bhutan, or
  4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The vacancies for these posts are not stipulated in the described notification from the authority. Vacancies hopefully will be declared during the examinations as SSC had done with CGL 2016.
