State Institute of Design (SID), Rohtak, a State Government Institute under Technical Education Department, Haryana issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 2 faculty positions of Professor and Associate Professor (1 post each) in various disciplines on direct recruitment/ contract/ deputation basis. 1. Professor (Product Design): 1 post
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 37400- 67000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 9500
Age limit: 55 years (as on 20 March 2014)
Experience: at-least 15 years of post-qualification experience of teaching in a Design Institute of repute or relevant industrial experience only after Bachelor Degree in relevant filed.
2. Associate Professor (Textile Design/ Apparel Design): 1 post
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 37400- 67000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700
Age limit: 52 years (as on 20 March 2014)
Experience: at-least 12 years of post-qualification experience of teaching in a Design Institute of repute or relevant industrial experience only after Bachelor Degree in relevant filed.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
Written test might be conducted to short-list candidates for Interview, if the no of applications received is large.
Intimation regarding written test (if any)/ Interview will be sent through E-mail/ Telephone to eligible shortlisted candidates.
Initial appointment to all the posts will be on contractual basis for a period of two years & will be regularized on completion of two years satisfactory contractual service.
