Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

(i) Ph.D. in Textiles and first class in relevant Master degree with MBA from recognized University (for post 1 & 2).

(ii) M.E. or M.Tech. in Textile Technology (First Class) and MBA / PGDM Specialisation in Marketing / Retailingrecoganised University (for post 3).

(iii) Post Graduate qualification in Management or Finance (for post 6) from recognized Universitywith Finance specialisation (First class)/ CA/ ICWAI (for post 4) and inter (for post 6).

(iv) Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute (for post 5).

(v) Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade from a recognized Universityalong with good academic record (for post 7 & 8).

Age Limit & Relaxation: Not Exceed 45years (for post 1, 7 & 8) and 40 years (for rest of other posts) as on 01 June 2014 and Age Relaxation for category candidates as per rules.

 Pay Scale

• For Post 1:  Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- Per Month
• For Post 2: Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/- Per Month ().
• For Post 3 to 5: Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Month ().
• For Post 6: Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Per Month
• For Post 7 & 8: Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- Per Month ().

Application Fee 

Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) for Regular post and Rs. 300/- (Three Hundred only) for Contractual post in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “The Director, SVPISTM”, Payable at Coimbatore.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test followed with the Personality Test or the Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
