The Tariff Authority for Major Ports, (TAMP) invited application for recruitment to the post of Assistant/Stenographer. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 20 days from the date of publication of advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification

1. Deputy Director: Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or the institute of Company Secretaries of India or Graduate/Post Graduate in commerce with MBA in Finance. 5 (Five) years’ experience in cost/ accounting work/ tariff fixation preferably in Ports or other Regulatory Authorities.
2. Assistant Director: Qualifications recognized for enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or the institute of Company Secretaries of India or Graduate/Post Graduate in commerce with MBA in Finance. 3 (Three) years’ experience in costing/ finance /tariff fixation matters relating preferably to ports or other Regulatory Authorities.
3. Assistant Director (I.T.) : ) MCA/ Master’s degree in computer science or M.Tech (with specialization in computer application) or B.E./ B.Tech in computer technology from a recognized university or DOEACC B level. 3 (Three) years experience in electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming.
4. Assistant: Bachelor Degree from a recognized University; (b) Atleast 5 (five) years service in the immediate lower grade in the Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous body/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Major Ports or in a Reputed firm. Should have good knowledge of office procedure, Rules and Regulations relating to Establishment and General Administration work and the capacity to examine the cases thoroughly with good qualities of noting and drafting.
5. Stenographer: 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University which shall be in accordance with Clause-6 of the Recruitment Regulation. Skill Test Norms (a) Shorthand Speed @ 80 wpm (English) (b) Typing Speed @ 40 wpm (English) (c) At least 3 years’ experience as Stenographer on regular basis in the Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Major Ports or in reputed companies.

• Age limit

1. Assistant Director: Below 35 years
2. Deputy Director: Below 56 years
3. Assistant Director (I.T.) : Below 56 years
4. Assistant: Below 30 years
5. Stenographer: Below 27 years

Pay Scale

1. Deputy Director: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP-6,600/-in PB-3
2. Assistant Director: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP-5,400/-in PB-3
3. Assistant Director (I.T.) : Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP-5,400/-in PB-3
4. Assistant: Rs.9,300-34,800 + GP- 4,200/- in PB-2
5. Stenographer: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay-2400/-
