Educational Qualification & Experience:
Head, Department of Library Sciences – A Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation or Associateship in Documentation and Information Science from INSDOC or DRTC with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and a consistently good academics record. Required to have minimum 10 years experience as Dy. Librarian in a Reputed Hospital / University / College.
Head, Tissue Bank – PhD degree in Biological Sciences, allied health sciences or other related field. 10 years work related experience in Molecular Biology techniques. Computer skills and experience with database required.
Chief Administrative Officer – The incumbent must have full knowledge of Governmental procedures, rules and regulations and to provide all administrative assistance to the Directors as may be required, under the provisions of Bye-laws.
Human Resource Development Officer (H.R.D.O.) – Minimum Post Graduation from a recognized University OR MBA from a recognized Institute of repute. Formal qualification from a reputed institution in hospital management such as Diploma in Hospital and Health Management is desirable. Minimum 15 years experience preferably in a Government organization / having experience in more than 500 bedded hospital.
Purchase Officer – Graduate with Post Graduate Management degree/diploma in Human Resource/Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations. The incumbent will have to look after all the H.R. related matters, staff welfare problems and handle staff grievances at TMC.
Deputy Controller of Accounts – Graduate in any discipline with a Post Graduate Degree /Diploma in Material Management from a reputed Institution. The candidate should have 5 years experience in supervisory capacity in the Grade Pay Rs.5400/- or 10 years experience in the Grade Pay Rs.4800/- or combine 8 years experience in Grade Pay Rd.5400/- & Rs.4800/- in a Purchase Unit of (Government / Autonomous Body or R & D Institution / Large Hospital / Commercial Undertaking) dealing with import of chemicals, laboratory and hospital equipment, purchase of drugs, surgical items, kits, reagents, etc. He /She should be well versed with customs clearance formalities, Purchase Information Systems and modern methods of purchases.
Accounts Officer II – ICWAI/FCA/MBA (Finance) with 8 years experience in Financial Management and Managerial Information System OR Post Graduate in Commerce/SAS or equivalent with 10 years experience in Accounts Officer or equivalent capacity in Government Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.9300-34800. The candidate should be well-versed with hands-on experience in computerized accounting systems including online transactions.
Assistant Accounts Officer (Centre for Cancer Epidemiology) – ICWAI/FCA/MBA (Finance) with three years experience or passed SAS or equivalent examination having minimum 5 years experience in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 or Post Graduate in Commerce with 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a Government Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body.
Engineer ‘E’ (Civil) – Full time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from AICTE approved college. The candidate should have minimum 18 years post qualifications practical experience in construction and maintenance of RCC multistoried hospitals, hotels, laboratories, office complex & housing colonies. Out of minimum required experience, at least 9 years experience should be of building construction. The candidate should have proficiency in estimation, budgeting, tendering, CPWD work procedures, MS Office, project management, coordination with Civil, MEP & HVAC works. The candidate would be responsible for co-coordinating and organizing all the functions of construction & maintenance works of Tata Memorial Centre. Candidates with less than 18 years but more than 10 years experience will be considered for next lower grade.
Assistant Nursing Superintendent – M.Sc. (Nursing) with 3 years’ experience OR B.Sc. (Nursing) with 5 years’ experience out of which minimum 2 years experience in Clinical Field. Preference will be given to candidates having administrative experience.
Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Computer Programmer) – B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science / IT) OR MCA Degree from a Government recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Candidate should have minimum 3 years of hands-on programming experience in Client Server environment using Visual Basic / .NET technology as a front End tool & DB2 RDBMS on IBM i series AS400 Server OR MS SQL RDBMS on Windows Server as back end. Candidate must also have good practical knowledge of SQL, Crystal Report. Working knowledge of Web Technology / Web development tools, skill on ASP/VB Script is desirable.
Medical Physicist ‘C’ – M.Sc. (Physics) and Diploma in Radiological Physics OR Equivalent AERB approved qualifications. Experience with advanced computerized treatment planning systems and other state-of-the-art technology will be essential.
Scientific Assistant ‘C’ – B.Sc (I.T.) OR B.C.A. with minimum 50% marks from a Govt. recognised University. Minimum 3 years programming experience in a Client/Server environment is mandatory. Candidate must have good practical knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL, Crystal Report & RDBMS. Working knowledge of AS/400, DB2, Web Technology/Web development tools, skills on ASP/VB Script, JAVA, JAVA Script etc. is advantageous.
Scientific Officer ‘Sb’ (Library) – B.Sc (in any field) with 55% marks OR Masc. in Library and Information Science with 55% marks from a recognised university with consistently good academic record. Minimum 5-7 years post qualification experience as Jr.Librarian / Assistant Librarian preferably in a Biomedical or Hospital Library settings. Experience in digital environment, good communication skills (written & oral) in English, Strong interpersonal & intrapersonal skills is desirable. Need to work in shifts too. Knowledge of computers & related information technology library management systems. Knowledge of management of e-databases, electronic services & experience of automated searches is desirable.
Assistant Night Supervisor– M.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc (Nursing) / General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology with 10 years’ experience out of which minimum 5 years experience in Clinical Only Female candidates can apply.
Scientific Assistant `B’ (Biochemistry) – B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks OR B.Sc. in (Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences) with 50% marks and D.M.L.T. Scientific Assistant ‘C’ (Nuclear Medicine) – B.Sc. with DFIT / DMRIT from HBNI university with 50% marks. Candidates who have passed RSO in Nuclear Medicine II exam conducted by RPAD / AERB is desirable. Candidate should have 01 year experience after DFIT / DMRIT.
Scientific Assistant `B’ (Dept. of Radiation Oncology) – B.Sc.(Physics) with minimum 50% marks and 2 years Post Graduate Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology OR Equivalent AERB approved qualification with 01 year experience in modern machines in Department of Radiation Oncology using Linear Accelerators.
Scientific Assistant ‘B’(Dept. Of Medical Records, Biostatistics & Epidemiology) – Graduate with minimum 50% marks in Statistics / Biometry / Mathematics with Statistics as ancillary subject with 01 year experience in collecting and analyzing medical data in a hospital or research institute.. Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Cytopathology) – B.Sc. Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology) with 50% marks and Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. 01 year experience in the Laboratory Techniques is essential.
Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Bio-Medical) – Diploma in Medical Electronics / Electronics / Instrumentation from State Board of Technical Examinations (10 + 3) year’s course. Candidates having 2 to 3 years of experience in the field of servicing of hospital equipment. A candidate desirous to work independently for in-house repair / maintenance / calibration activity shall be preferred.
Assistant Security Officer– Graduate from recognized university with NCC ‘C’ certificate and must have minimum 3 years security experience in a large organization in a supervisory category. Qualifications may be relaxed in case of ex-servicemen who has rendered minimum 15 years of service and must be hawaldar or equivalent in Armed forces only. Should possess valid driving license for two wheeler.
Pharmacist ‘B’ – B.Pharm with minimum 01 year experience of working in a Dispensary / Pharmacy of a hospital having minimum 300 beds. Registration with State Pharmacy Council with duly allotted Registration Number is mandatory. Experience of working on computerized system desirable. Candidate should be prepared to work in shift duties, including night shift.
Technician ‘F’ (Dept. of Medical Graphics) – Graduate (in any field) with minimum 10 years experience in Clinical Photography and digital studio Photography – indoor & outdoor. Should have knowledge of operating high end scanner for transparency, x-ray sheets, color correction etc., Handling of NXCAM Digital video camcorder and editing of the video, knowledge of photo and video working in operation theatres. Should be able to work on Desktop publishing software such as Indesign, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, page layouting job in design for various reports is must.
Technician ‘C’ (Computer System Operator / Networking Assistant) – Diploma in Electronics / Computer Engineering (3 years after 12th standard) OR Graduate in Computer Science OR any other graduate with minimum 1 year certificate course in Computer Technology from a reputed institute & having Professional CCNA certification. Diploma or Graduation should be from a Government Recognised Board / University. Candidates should have minimum 6 years of hands on work experience in configuration / trouble shooting / maintaining large IT network / Infrastructure out of which minimum 3 years should be IBM iseries (AS/400) System operations. Additionally Administration of window server (ADS, DNS, IIS etc.) , IBM Tivoli facility management server, antivirus server, email server is essential. Candidate should be proficient in configuration and troubleshooting of various network equipments like L2 and L3 switches, routers, Wi-Fi networking components etc. Candidates should be conversant with network security & firewall.
Technician ‘C’ (Dental & Prosthetics Surgery) – S.S.C. & Certificate in Dental Hygienic course (2 years) conducted by the Dental Council of India with 01 year experience. Candidate should be registered under Dental Council.
Technician ‘C’ (Cytogenetic) – H.S.C. with C.M.L.T. from a recognized institute. Preference will be given to graduates. Candidates should have minimum 01 year experience in Cancer Cytogenetic Laboratory.
Technician ‘A’ (Air Conditioning) – S.S.C. with I.T.I (Air-conditioning or Refrigeration) 02 years full time course from Government Recognized Institute with 03 years experience after ITI OR I.T.I. plus N.C.T.V.T. (Air-Conditioning or Refrigeration) with 02 years experience in maintenance of Air-Condition & Refrigeration work.
Technician ‘A’ (Electrical) – S.S.C. plus I.T.I. (Electrician) 2 years’ full time course from Government Recognized Institute with 03 years’ experience after I.T.I. or 2 years’ after I.T.I. plus N.C.T.V.T. in Electrical Maintenance works in Industry / Commercial establishments / Hospitals.
Technician ‘A’ (Mechanical) – S.S.C. plus I.T.I. (Mechanical Trade) 2 years’ full time course from Government Recognized Institute with 03 years’ experience after I.T.I. or 2 years’ after I.T.I. plus N.C.T.V.T. in Mechanical Maintenance works preferably Medical Gas System in Hospitals.
Technician ‘C’ (E.C.G.) – B.Sc with 2 years experience in ECG. Certificate / Diploma in ECG is desirable.
