Eligibility Criteria for BT Assistant Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
BT Assistant (Tamil): B.A / B.Lit .Degree in Tamil or its equivalent and B.T/B.Ed. degree or its equivalent/D.T.Ed./TPT from recognized university and should have qualified NTET Paper-II with optional Subject either Social Science or Mathematics and Science.
BT Assistant (English): B.A Degree in Hindi or its equivalent and B.Ed. degree or its equivalent from recognized university and should have qualified NTET Paper-II with optional Subject either Social Science or Mathematics and Science.
BT Assistant (Mathematics): B.Sc Degree in Mathematics or its equivalent and B.Ed. degree or its equivalent from recognized university and should have qualified NTET Paper-II with optional Subject either Mathematics and Science.
BT Assistant (Science): B.Sc Degree in relevant subject or its equivalent and B.Ed. degree or its equivalent from recognized university and should have qualified NTET Paper-II with optional Subject either Mathematics and Science.
BT Assistant (History): B.A Degree in History or its equivalent and B.Ed. degree or its equivalent from recognized university and should have qualified NTET Paper-II with optional Subject either Social Science or Mathematics and Science.
BT Assistant (Geography): B.Sc Degree in Geography or its equivalent and B.Ed. degree or its equivalent from recognized university and should have qualified NTET Paper-II with optional Subject either Mathematics and Science.
Note: for the IEDSS candidate should have B.Ed. (Special Education) degree must be in VI (Visual Impairment) / HI (Hearing Impairment) / MR(Mental Retardation).
Selection Process for BT Assistant Posts
Candidate will be selected on the basis of their merit in the TNTET.
