Age Limit:
Director – Examination, Director – Technical: Upper age limit for the post is 50 years.
Deputy Director - Tax Research: Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.
Assistant Director – CAT: Upper age limit for the post is 30 years.
Senior Officer – Technical: Upper age limit for the post is 28 years.
Officer (IT), Officer – Legal, Officer – Journal, Officer – Secretariat: Upper age limit for the post is 25 years.
Eligibility Criteria for Director & Other Posts:
Educational Qualification
Director – Examination, Director - Technical: Candidate must be a Master Degree or Bachelor Degree holder with excellent academic record. Membership of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, ICSI, ICAI.
Deputy Director - Tax Research, Senior Officer - Technical: Membership of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, ICSI, ICAI.
Assistant Director – CAT, Officer - Journal, Officer - Secretariat: Membership of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, ICSI, ICAI, MBA or equivalent qualifications (Full time courses only).
Officer (IT): BE/ B.Tech./ MCA (Full time courses only) from a recognized University.
Officer – Legal: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree holder with excellent academic record. LLB (Full time), LLM from UGC recognized Universities.
Selection Procedure for Director & Other Posts:
The selection procedure shall be through Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview for the position of Officer till Assistant Director, Group Discussion and Personal Interview for the position of Deputy Director and only personal interview for the position of Director.
