The Kolkata Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2016 for 12 Manager & Other Posts

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) invited applications for 12 various posts on contract basis under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM). The eligible candidates can apply online to the post through the organisation’s website latest by 16 July 2016.

Under The Kolkata Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2016, out of total 12 posts, 01 post is allotted to Urban Infrastructure Specialist, 01 post is allotted to Urban Planner, 01 post is allotted to Solid Waste Management Specialist, 01 post is allotted to Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, 01 post is allotted to Manager Social Development and Infrastructure, 01 post is allotted to Manager Skills & Livelihoods, 01 post is allotted to Manager Financial Inclusion & Micro Enterprises, 01 post is allotted to Manager-MIS & ME under NULM, 01 post is allotted to Accountant, 01 post is allotted to Dealing Assistant cum Data Entry Operator and 01 post is allotted to Multi Tasking Helper.

Eligibility for Urban Infrastructure Specialist under AMRUT –B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Experience: Have  a  broad  range  of  experience  in Urban  infrastructure  and  a  strong background  in  public  health engineering,  especially  water  supply and sanitation; •  Have  at  least  3-5  yrs.  experience  in designing  and  managing  municipal infrastructure  projects,  preferably projects funded by aid agencies and •  Be  very  familiar  with  the  laws  and procedures  of  the  Indian  Municipal environment.

Eligibility for Urban Planner under AMRUT –B  Arch/B.E.  or B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Experience: •  Urban  Planner/  Management  Expert having  strong  background  in  project management  with  03-05  yrs. experience in managerial position; •  Senior  Engineers  with  at  least  3-5 years’  experience  in  managerial position can be considered; •  Experience  in  working  with  large scale  Urban  development  projects/ programmes  preferably  in  water supply and sanitation sectors. •  Experience  in  Urban  Reforms  and capacity  building  programmes  for ULBs.

Eligibility for Solid Waste Management Specialist under AMRUT –B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Experience: •  Ability  to  assist  ULBs  to  set standards  and  procedures  for ensuring  quality  and  monitoring compliance on SWM. •  Familiarity  with  legislative framework  of  Indian  municipal environment. •  Prior  experience  as  municipal engineer  will  be  an  added advantage •  Should  have  at  least  3-5  yrs. experience in urban infrastructure related  to  solid  waste management. •  Experience  of  work  on multilateral  supported  projects  at ULB level would be preferred.

Eligibility for Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist under AMRUT – B.E.   or  B.Tech. degree  in  Engineering  in  any  discipline with computer proficiency. Experience: •  The  expert  will  have  a management  background  and  at least  3-5  years  experience  in monitoring  and  evaluating  large projects  and  programmes preferably in the urban sector.

Eligibility for Manager Social Development and Infrastructure under NULM – •  Bachelor  Degree  in  Social  Science preferably  in  Social work/Sociology/Economics/Management. •  2-3  years  practical  experience  of working  in  Social  Development work  with  poverty  reduction programmes. •  Fluency  of  English  &  Bengali  or •  Contract Period for 2 years local languages of West Bengal.

Eligibility for Manager Skills & Livelihoods under NULM – •  Bachelor  Degree  in  Social  Science preferably  in  Social work/Sociology/Economics/Management. •  2-3  years  practical  experience  of working  in implementation  of skill  training  and  placement programmes. •  Fluency  of  English  &  Bengali  or local languages of West Bengal.

Eligibility for Manager Financial Inclusion & Micro Enterprises under NULM - •  Bachelor  Degree  in  Social  Science preferably  in  Social work/Sociology/Economics/Management. •  2-3  years  practical  experience  of working  in  implementation  of skill  training  and  placement programmes/credit linkage, social security and/or Micro enterprises promotion  in  poverty  reduction programme/financial institutions. •  Fluency  of  English  &  Bengali  or local languages of West Bengal.

Eligibility for Manager-MIS & ME under NULM – •  Bachelor  Degree  in  Computer Science. •  2-3  years  experience  in  designing and implementation of MIS & ME, preferably  poverty  reduction project. •  Fluency  in  English  &  Bengali  or local languages of West Bengal.

Eligibility for Accountant under NULM – •  Bachelor Degree in Commerce •  At  least  3  years  experience  in working with any organization of the Govt. Society, firm, association etc. •  Proficiency  in  MS  Office  (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)

Eligibility for Dealing Assistant cum Data Entry Operator under NULM – •  10+2 in any discipline and at least 6  months  course  in  basic computer. •  At  least  2  years  experience  in working  with  organization  of  the Govt.  society,  firm,  association  in data  entry  and  related  works  in relevant field. •  Proficiency  in  internet  operations, e-mailing  and  MS  Office  (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)

Eligibility for Multi Tasking Helper under NULM – •  Madhyamik  or  equivalent  exam pass. •  At  least  2  years  working experience  in  any  organization  in related field
