Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL), a well known Paper Manufacturing Company with a turnover of over Rs. 1800 Crores issued notification inviting  applications for filling up 40 executives vacancies with its Mills in Kagithapuram, Karur District and for its Multilayer Double Coated Board Plant to be established in Trichy District, a and for its Corporate Office at Chennai. Interested candidates should send their applications to TNPL office so as to reach the concerned authority within 15 days from the date of release of this advertisement i.e. till 12 June 2014.

Total Vacancies: 40 posts

(A) Paper Mill / De-Inking Plant  

1. Senior Manager (Soda Recovery) for Causticizing Plant: 1 post

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology; 

Age limit: Minimum 39 years (as on 1 May 2014)

Experience: Minimum 17 years of post qualification relevant experience

2. Manager (HR): 1 post

Qualifications: Arts/ Science/ Engineering Degree and MA (Social Work) with specialization in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Labour Welfare/ HRM OR Arts/ Science/ Engineering Degree and MBA with specialization in HR.  

Age limit: Minimum 37 years

Experience: Minimum 15 years of post qualification relevant experience.

3. Deputy Manager (Soda Recovery): 2 posts

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology. 

Age limit: Minimum 34 years

Experience: Minimum 12 years of post qualification relevant experience.

4.  Deputy Manager (De-Inking Plant)/ Assistant Manager (De-Inking Plant): 1 post

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.  

Age limit:

For Dy.Manager: Minimum 34 years  

For Asst.Manager: Minimum 29 years

Experience:

For Dy.Manager: Minimum 12 years of post qualification relevant experience.

For Asst.Manager: Minimum 7 years of post qualification relevant experience.

5.  Deputy Manager (Paper Machine)/ Assistant Manager (Paper Machine): 3 posts

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.  

Age limit:

For Dy.Manager: Minimum 34 years  

For Asst.Manager: Minimum 29 years

Experience:

For Dy.Manager: Minimum 12 years of post qualification relevant experience.

6.  Deputy Manager (Pulp)/ Assistant Manager (Pulp): 3 posts

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.  

Age limit:

For Dy.Manager: Minimum 34 years

Experience:

For Dy.Manager: Minimum 12 years of post qualification relevant experience.

7. Assistant Manager (Projects)-Chemical: 1 post

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.  

Age limit: Minimum 29 years

Experience: Minimum 7 years of post qualification relevant experience.

8. Officer (Purchase) / Officer (Stores): 4 posts

Qualifications: Engineering Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management OR MBA OR Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce with Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management OR Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce with MBA. 

Age limit: Maximum age for BC: 30 years; MBC/DNC: 32 years; SC: 35 years 

Experience: Minimum 5 years of post qualification relevant experience.

(B). Unit-II (Multilayer Double Coated Board Plant)  

9. Assistant General Manager (Utilities)/ Senior Manager (Utilities): 1 post

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering; BOE Certificate (with due endorsement of Director of Boilers, Tamilnadu for those obtained in other States) 

Age limit:

For Assistant General Manager: Minimum 43 years 

For Senior Manager: Minimum 39 years

Experience:

For Assistant General Manager: Minimum 21 years of post qualification relevant experience. 

For Senior Manager: Minimum 17 years of post qualification relevant experience. 

10. Manager (Production): 1 post  

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.  

Age limit: Minimum 37 years

Experience: Minimum 15 years of post qualification relevant experience.

11.  Deputy Manager (Production)/ Assistant Manager (Production): 1 post 

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Pulp & Paper Technology OR Arts/ Science Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology. 

Age limit:

For Deputy Manager: Minimum 34 years

For Assistant Manager: Minimum 29 years

Experience:

For Deputy Manager: Minimum 12 years of post qualification experience.

For Assistant Manager: Minimum 7 years of post qualification experience.

12. Deputy Manager (Electrical)/ Assistant Manager (Electrical): 4 posts

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

For Deputy Manager: Minimum 34 years

Experience:

For Deputy Manager: Minimum 12 years of post qualification relevant experience.

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

For Plant Engineer: Maximum age for General Turn: 30 years; for BC: 30 years; for MBC/ DNC: 32 years; for SC/ ST: 35 years 

Experience:

For Deputy Manager: Minimum 12 years of post qualification relevant experience. 

For Assistant Manager: Minimum 7 years of post qualification relevant experience. 

For Plant Engineer: Minimum 5 years of post qualification relevant experience. 

14. Assistant Manager (Security)/ Officer (Security): 2 posts

Qualifications: Ex-servicemen with minimum qualification of Graduation in the rank of Junior Commissioned Officers OR Ex-servicemen with Matriculation who have put in not less than 15 years of military service and who are considered equal to Graduates for Group-C posts

Age limit:

For Assistant Managers: Minimum 29 years

For Officers: Maximum age for BC: 30 years; for SC: 35 years  

Experience:

For Assistant Manager: Minimum 7 years of post military relevant experience.

For Officer: Minimum 5 years of post military relevant experience. 

(C). Corporate Office, Chennai 

15. Officer (Secretarial): 1 post

Qualifications: Graduate and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). 

Age limit: Maximum age for General Turn: 30 years; for BC: 30 years; for MBC/ DNC: 32 years; for SC/ ST: 35 years 

Experience: Minimum 5 years of post qualification relevant experience.

Pay Scale:

For Assistant General Manager: Rs.35500-1200- 47500

For Senior Manager: Rs.30500-1000- 40500

For Manager: Rs.28000-800- 36000

For Deputy Manager: Rs.23500-600- 29500

For Assistant Manager: Rs.19500-500-24500  

For Officer/ Plant Engineer: Rs.16000-400-20000

Age and pay will be reckoned as on 1 May 2014
