Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) invited applications for the recruitment of 33 Various Vacancies. The candidates can apply in prescribed application format before 9 November 2012.

• Principal (Government (General) Degree Colleges): 04 posts
• Associate Professor: 03 posts
• Assistant Professor: 05 posts
• Scientific Officer: 01 post

Group B

• Principal (Industrial Training Institute): 10 posts

Group C

• Blind Educator: 05 posts
• Speech Educator: 04 posts
• Inspector: 01 post

Age Limit

The candidates should be below 50 years for Principal (Government (General) Degree Colleges) and Associate Professor, 45 years for Principal (Industrial Training Institute), and 40 years for remaining posts as on 9 November 2012.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: (i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) from a recognized University. (ii) A Ph. D in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) with evidence of published work and research guidance. (iii) Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15 years in teaching/ research/ administration in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education. (iv) Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) Based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in the UGC regulation-2010 at Appendix-III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges. Application Fee

• 1)  Group-A Posts: Rs. 200/- for General Candidates and Rs. 150/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. 2) For Group-B Posts: Rs. 150/- for General Candidates and Rs. 75/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidate. 3) For Group-C Posts: Rs. 100/- for General Candidates and Rs. 50/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates
• The fee must be deposited through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favor of the Secretary, T.P.S.C, if the  application form obtained through Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the State of Tripura
• If Application is downloaded from website the prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid to the  Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.

Selection

The candidate would be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in the screening Test and Personality Test.

Candidates can download application format available in the website www.tpsc.gov.in or at Branches/Extension counters of TPSC, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature and submit it along with payment receipt, Admit Card, Rs. 5/- pasted self addressed envelope and copies of all relevant certificates, at Reception Counter of TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM on or before 9 November 2012.
