UGC NET Exam Analysis 21 August 2024: UGC NET is one of the most sought-after exams for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors or to qualify for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. The UGC NET re-exam commenced on August 21, and will continue until September 4.
Aspirants who appeared for the shift 1 found exam a bit easy as compared to the exam conducted on June 18. A few questions were lengthy and tricky. English was easy, while maths section was difficult.

The National Testing Agency commenced the UGC NET exam on August 7, at 541 centres across India. Over 11.8 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. In the previous attempt, nearly 9 lakh aspirants appeared, but the exam was cancelled due to a paper leak. As a result, this time the exam is being conducted online. UGC NET Exam Analysis 2024: Subject Wise
UGC NET exam is divided into two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 consists of 50 questions, while Paper 2 includes 100 questions. In Paper 1, there are 10 sections, with 5 questions from each section, and each question carries a weightage of two marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

UGC NET Shift 2 Good Attempts
In the Teaching Aptitude section, candidates were expected to attempt 4-5 out of 7-8 questions. The Research Aptitude, Communication, Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning sections had around 5 questions each, with good attempts being 2-4.
