University of Hyderabad Notified Recruitment for 03 Posts of Assistant Professor 2014

School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad invites applications from the eligible candidates fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following posts of “Assistant Professor” for (Nursing and Optometry & Vision Science) on Adhoc (Temporary) Faculty Basis for a period not more than six months. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 28 May 2014.

Assistant Professor: 03 (Three).               

Educational Qualification / Experience

(i) M. Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% marks from recoganised University. Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Child Health Nursing, Community Nursing or Mental Health Nursing for the post of Nursing Specialization.

(ii) M. Sc./ M. Phil/ Ph. D in Optometry with a minimum of 55% marks from recoganised University for the post of Optometry & Vision Science.

(iii) Possess a good Academic record.

(iv) A minimum of 03 years experience in teaching and clinical training is essential.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age limit & Relaxation for the candidate should be as per rules.

Pay Scale/ Salary  

Pay Scale will be of Rs. 15,600/- (basic) plus other allowances as applicable as per rules.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
