University of Southampton’s Optoelectronics Research Centre invited applications for its one-year course in MSc in photonic technologies (also for students in India).
The course will apparently cover a gamut area of photonics that will include taught modules, practical training in research techniques and modelling with a four-month project.
Candidates will not only have a good time learning but will also benefit from the integrated transferable skills elements and participation in the ORC’s weeklong industry showcase event, where students will get the opportunity to work with the leading local and national photonics companies.
The eligibility criteria for all Southampton MSc programmes is a UK 2.1 or a first class Bachelor’s honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant degree, for example physics, electronics, engineering, materials science or mathematics.
The last date to apply for the MSc photonic technologies programme is July 31, 2012. An early application is advisable. Fee for the 2012-13 session is £19,800.For further information on the program CLICK HERE
