UPSC has declared CDS 1 exam result. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result at the official web page of UPSC at www.upsc.gov.in.
Results have been announced for Combined Defence Services Examination (I)-2017/ CDS 1 Exam 2017. 8548 candidates have been selected for interview by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.
UPSC Conducts CDS Exam every year for admission to the 142nd course of Indian Military Academy (IMA) , Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerela and Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course. The candidates who are selected through this exam would be inducted in the training program which will commence in April 2018. The candidature of the applicants shortlisted for interview is provisional till final selection and verification of all original documents and proper background checks.
Candidates should note that while preparing the merit list, medical examination has not been taken into account.
How to check UPSC CDS 1 Exam Result 2017 ?
Go to upsc.gov.in then click on the Combined Defence Service Exam 1 Result you will be prompted to download a PDF File. Save the file and enter your roll number in it. If your roll number is present then you are shortlisted for the second round of selection.
The commission will publish the mark sheet of candidates who have not qualified the exam within 15 days of declaring the final result after conducting SSB interview and will remain available on the website for a period of 60 days.
About the UPSC CDS Examination : UPSC conducts Combined Defence Service Examination (1&2) every year for selecting candidates in IMA, INA and AFA. The selections made through the UPSC CDS Examination are all Group A Class I posts.
