UPSC Engineering Service Exam Final Result: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final list of selected candidates in Engineering Services Examination (ESE) on its official website. Candidates who have appeared in the interviews for Personality Test held in September and October 2018, can check their name on the link given below.
As per the official notification, the total of 511 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various Services/Posts in the Ministries/Departments concerned. Out of total selected candidates, 166 candidates are in Civil Engineering, 136 in Mechanical Engineering, 108 in Electrical Engineering and 106 in E&T Engineering.
The commission had conducted the exam to fill 588 engineering posts in various departments of the central government. The final selection has been done through Preliminary, Main and Personal Interview.
The official notification reads 'The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of three months [i.e. upto 11/02/2019] from the date of declaration of final result. Such provisional candidates will have to submit their original documents to the Commission only. In case the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents, as required by the Commission, within the above prescribed period, his/her candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard"
UPSC Engineering Services 2018 Interview Schedule Released
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for Engineering Services Examination (ESE) on its official website. The interview is scheduled to be held from 10 September 2018 and will continue till 25 October 2018 for various Engineering Posts. Candidates who have cleared the UPSC Engineering Services Main Exam can check interview details on the link given below.
The total of 1,488 candidates have been selected for the interview process of which 466 candidates are in Civil Engineering, 401 in Mechanical Engineering, 348 in Electrical Engineering and 273 in E&T Engineering. The interview test will be carrying 200 Marks.
