UPSC Prelims Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must be familiar with the requirements before taking the UPSC CSE 2024 Exam. It will help students keep their balance in the examination hall and avoid any last-minute difficulties on exam day.
- Candidates must reach the examination hall at least 60 minutes prior to the actual reporting time provided in the UPSC IAS admit card.
- It is required to bring the UPSC prelims admit card (2024) and a valid photo ID to the test centre. The necessary documents include an original Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving licence, voter identity card, or any other photo ID proof, as well as two passport-size colour photographs.
- Candidates will not be permitted to bring personal items/belongings to the test hall, including Bluetooth devices, books, communication devices, electronic/digital/wireless devices such as calculators, electronic watches, textual or stationary material, notes, loose sheets, and so on. If they are found with any of the forbidden materials, their candidature will be revoked.
