Visvesvaraya Technological University Notified Recruitment for 193 Non-Teaching Posts 2014

Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum invites applications in 2 (Two) sets in the prescribed format from the eligible Indian citizen for the following Non-Teaching Posts in VTU’s Constituent College, at Huvinahadagali, Karwar and Raichur. The eligible Indian Nationals / Origins who are residing abroad may also apply. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 05 April 2014.

• Helper (Laboratory):   30 (Thirty).
• Draftsman: 03 (Three).
• Assistant Administrative Officer: 02 (Two).
• Registrar: 06 (Six).
• Superintendent            : 08 (Eight).
• FDC: 21 (Twenty One).
• SDC: 21 (Twenty One).
• Stenographer:   02 (Two).
• Typist: 05 (Five).
• Attender: 06 (Six).
• Helper:    30 (Thirty).
• Driver:     03 (Three).
• Sweeper: 04 (Four).
• Assistant Sweeper: 04 (Four).

Educational Qualification 

• Must be holder of a first class Diploma in respective branch of Engineering / Technology with three years experience in Industry / Institution recognized by the Government. Diploma must be equivalent to Diploma granted by Board of Technical Examinations for few posts.
• Must have passed SSLC and must be holder of a Technician Certificate / ITI in the respective branch of Engineering / Technology awarded by the Department of Vocational Education, Karnataka. Department of Labour & Training.
• Must possess a degree/ diploma in relavant field from a recognized University.
• Pass in 7th Std and Holder of a current Driving License for Light or Heavy Vehicles for post of Driver.
• Must have passed SSLC from recoganised Board/ Institute.
• Must Pass in 7th Std. from recoganised School/ Institute.

Age Limit & Relaxation: The maximum age limit shall be as 35 Years for General Candidates, 38 Years for OBC Candidates and 40 Years for SC/ ST/ Category – I Candidates as on the last date for the receipt of application.

Pay Scale

Pay Scale of Rs. 20,000 – 36,400/- for post 1, Rs. 17,650 – 32,000/- for post 2, Rs. 12,500 – 24,000/- for post 3, Rs. 11,600 – 21,000/- for post 4, 5, 10, 12 & 13, Rs. 28,100 – 50,100/- for post 6 & 7, Rs. 22,800 – 43,200/- for post 8, Rs. 16,000 – 29,600/- for post 9 & 11, Rs. 10,400 – 16,400/- for post 14 to 16 and Rs. 9,600 – 14,500/- for post 17 & 18. 

Fee Applicable 

Processing Fee in the form of Demand Draft, obtained of any Nationalized Bank, for Rs. 600/- for all the candidates and for SC/ST/Cat-I will be Rs. 300/- only in favour of Finance Officer, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

• Application shall be submitted by the candidate in the prescribed format along with relevant testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ ST/ OBC) and Demand Draft should reach to The Registrar, Visvesvaraya Technological University, “Jnana Sangama” Campus, Belgaum- 590 018 (Karnataka) on or before 05 April 2014 at 5.00 P. M.
• Candidates already employed in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Public Sector Undertakings (PSU)/ Departmental candidates should submit their applications through proper channel. And submit the ‘No Objection Certificate’.
• The envelope containing the application must be super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________________”.
