VIT University, Vellore invites applications from eligible candidates, for the posts of “Research Associate” and “Junior Research Fellow” in the projects under ICSSR and DRDL. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 20 January 2015 (for RA post) and on or before 12 January 2015 (for JRF post).

Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

• For Post 1   Candidate must possess MBA Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent with a working knowledge of Statistics and Computer Operations and the relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field with knowledge of Tamil is necessary.
• For Post 2 Candidate must possess M. Tech. or M.E in Metallurgical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Industrial Engineering or B. Tech./ BE in relevant field with appropriate experience.

Pay Scale

• For RA Rs. 16,000/- Per Month (as per ICSSR norms).
• For JRF Rs. 14,000/- Per Month

Selection Procedure The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Practical Test/ Skill Test/ Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.
