WBJEE 2018: Paper Analysis, Final Answer Key and Cut-off

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has successfully conducted the offline exam (OMR based) for WBJEE 2018 on April 22, 2018. There were two papers i.e., Paper-1 (Mathematics) and Paper-2 (Physics and Chemistry). There were 75 questions in paper-1 and paper-2 had 80 questions (40 questions from Physics and Chemistry each). WBJEE 2018 Paper Analysis:

1. There were 75 questions in paper-1 which was of Mathematics but the time allotted was only 2 hours which made it difficult for students.
2. The questions asked in WBJEE 2018 were based on the topics of class 11 and class 12.
3. The questions asked in Physics subject were of moderate level.
4. Some of the questions asked from organic chemistry in WBJEE 2018 were tricky.
5. According to some students, the paper-1 was difficult than previous year paper of WBJEE.
6. The questions asked from Mathematics subject were from the topics like Straight Lines, Three dimensional geometry, Conic Sections, Calculus (Integral and Differential), Permutation and Combinations, Statistics, Probability, Relations and Functions, Quadratic Equations, Complex Numbers, Matrices, Determinants, Triangles, Limits and Derivatives, Inequalities, Area under Curve, Arithmetic and Geometric Progressions.
7. In chemistry subject, the questions were generally asked from the topics like Mole Concept, Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Practical Chemistry, s-block Elements, d-block Elements, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Transition Elements, Hydrocarbons, Aldehydes and Ketones, Halo Alkanes, Alcohol, Amines, Chemistry in everyday life.
8. The questions asked from Physics subject in WBJEE 2018 paper-2 were from the topics like Atom and Nuclei, Dual Nature of Matter, Laws of Motions, Rotational Motion, Kinematics, Hydrostatics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Alternations Current, Optics, Electrostatics, Electromagnetic Induction, Magnetism, Current Electricity.

WBJEE 2018 Final Answer Key:

The answer key for any engineering entrance is important for students as it helps students to get their predictive scores. The students can compare the predictive scores with the last year cut-off and get to know about their success in the exam. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the WBJEE 2018 Final answer key. The students can follow the steps given below to check the final answer key.

2. Click on the link “Final Answer Keys – WBJEE-2018”.

3. Enter your Application number, password and security pin.

4. Now, the students can view the final answer key of WBJEE 2018.

WBJEE 2018 Provisional Answer Key:

Before releasing the final answer key for WBJEE 2018, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board also provided the facility to students to submit the objections (if any) after checking the WBJEE 2018 provisional answer key. For this students had to pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 500 per challenge the answer key through credit/debit card, net banking, Allahabad bank challan.
