After a hiatus, of 27 years Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is finally ready to form government in Delhi with Rekha Gupta taking oath as Delhi’s CM today, February 20. BJP has invited gig workers, cab and auto-rickshaw drivers, farmers, and slum leaders to the oath-taking ceremony of the new Delhi Chief Minister

The oath ceremony is scheduled to take place today, February 20, 11 days after BJP's election victory.

Women and Key Voter Groups Invited

Women who benefited from BJP's welfare schemes have been invited, following their high voter turnout in the recent elections. Both the BJP and AAP tried to win their support, but BJP’s promise of cash transfers played a key role in securing victory.

Rickshaw Drivers and Farmers Invited

Rickshaw drivers, known supporters of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, and farmers, who have had disputes with the central government over the MSP issue, have also been invited. Their presence highlights BJP’s effort to connect with different voter groups.

BJP’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ Approach

According to sources, the guest list reflects BJP’s vision of an "inclusive" government under its well-known slogan, "sabka saath, sabka vikas" (development with all, for all). Party volunteers are currently distributing invitations across Delhi.
