National Farmer's Day or Kisan Diwas 2022: It is celebrated annually on 23 December to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. He was the fifth Prime Minister of India and is remembered for the contributions made by him toward the upliftment of farmers across the country. He was a farm leader and introduced various policies to ensure improvement in the lives of farmers in India. He was born to a Jat couple in Noorpur in 1902.

The government of India is making various schemes to uplift the economic condition of the farmers but unfortunately, the results are not visible yet.
