The Parliament in modern politics refers to the legislative, elected body of government that adhere three functions such as representing the electorate, making laws, and overseeing the government (i.e., hearings, inquiries). It is derived from Anglo-Norman term parlement which means ‘talk’. It is legislative assembly of countries that might be Unicameral or Bicameral.
