The population of Rajasthan was 6.86 Crores as per Census 2011. As per the information, there is an increase from the figure of 5.65 Crore in census 2001. The total population of the state was 68,548,437 per the Census 2011.
Out of which 35,550,997 were males and 32,997,440 were females. However in the year 2001, the total population of the state was 56,507,188 out of which the number of males was 29,420,011 and the number of females was 27,087,177.
The growth in the decade in the total population was 21.31 % however in the previous decade the population growth was 28.33%. Rajasthan’s population forms 5.66 % of India in the year 2011 however it formed 5.49 % in 2001.
