Who Is Rohini Acharya?
For the first time, RJD has given a ticket to Rohini Acharya from Saran's seat. Rohini Acharya, who is the daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, has been working in the field of medicine. Her popularity was at a high in 2022 when she donated a kidney to her father Lalu Yadav and gave him a new life. Rohini Acharya is in the news again, but this time the reason is political. RJD strategists have decided to field her against BJP's sitting MP and former minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy. The contest in the Lok Sabha elections will be against him, who has also defeated RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and former CM Rabri Devi. Saran Lok Sabha constituency came into existence in 2009, in which Lalu Prasad won the first election. The second and third elections, i.e. 2014 and 2019, were won by Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

Rohini Acharya Political Career Growth
- Rohini Acharya's political career growth has remained interesting throughout. When Rohini came back to reclaim the seat for her father’s party in Saran, the same seat from which Lalu Yadav launched his political career back in the days as a young MP in the 1970s, the anticipation was quite high.

Rohini completed her education in Patna and pursued her dream of becoming a doctor. She enrolled herself in MGM Medical College from where she got her MBBS degree. Later, in 2002, she married a software developer, Samaresh Singh.
