AP SSC Exam 2020 to be held in July, confirms Education Minister, refutes reports about BSEAP 10th Exams being held June

AP SSC Exams 2020 in July: BSEAP will be conducting the AP SSC Exam 2020 for the 10th Class students in July 2020, as per the latest information shared by Andhra Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh. Education Minister also refuted rumours about the exams being held in the month of June, as indicated in news reports. The confusion began as in April, the BSEAP i.e. Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh had said that the SSC Exams 2020 for 10^th Class students would be held soon after the lockdown period ends. With 17^th May 2020 approaching fast, students and parents were concerned about the exams being held in June as indicated by the board. But, with the announcement from AP Education Minister, the confusion has been put to rest.

Exam Delayed to Provide Study Time to Students

Andhra Pradesh State Education Minister’s clarification about the declaration of AP SSC Exam 2020 being held in July 2020, comes as a great relief for lakhs of students who are due to appear for the 10^th Class Board Exam. As per a report filed by Times Now, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh also informed the media persons that the decision to delay the exams until July 2020 was taken keeping in mind the stress that students are undergoing currently due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The delay will help provide some additional study time to the students and thereby help them prepare well for the SSC Exams.

Majority of Pending Board Exams Being held in July

The decision of Andhra Pradesh Government to hold SSC Exams 2020 in the month of July comes following the CBSE Board Exam 2020 Dates, which are now scheduled to be held from 1^st to 15^th July 2020. The dates for CBSE Board 10^th and 12th Exam 2020 were announced by the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal last week. Following this, majority of the state boards are also planning to hold the pending board exams in July 2020 with Results expected in August 2020.
