The High Court has also ordered that none of the students should be barred from attending the online classes conducted by the schools until August 15, 2020. The court has also directed the schools that the dues payable by the students until July 31, 2020, will have to be cleared to the extent of 80 percent by the same date. The HC has also directed that none of the schools will prohibit any of the students from participating in the online classes until mid-August and these directions are applicable for all the classes and courses.
The hearing was conducted as part of a plea filed by a parent, the state, and some of the schools concerned. The petitioner stated to the court that the 112 schools were demanding regular fees from the students despite the fact that these schools are not functioning for the last four months.
