CSS Scholarship 2020

Fresh application and renewal applications are invited by the CBSE for the Central Sector Scheme for Scholarship for College and University Students, also known as CSS Scholarship 2020. According to the dates provided on the official website, the last date to apply for the CSS Scholarship 2020 is October 31, 2020. Candidates interested to apply can visit the official website to complete the applications.

According to the CBSE the online application for the Central Sector Scheme for Scholarship for College and University Students for the 2020 academic year, 1st Renewal for h year 2019,2md Renewal for 2018, 3rd Renewal for the year 2017, and 4th Renewal for the year 2016 is available on the National Scholarship Portal. Students interested to apply for the National Scholarship Portal to complete the applications for the fresh applications and the renewal of Scholarship. 

The CSS Scholarship Applications are available on the official website  - scholarships.gov.in. Candidates can also submit the applications for the Scholarship Scheme through the direct link provided below.

Candidates are advised to complete the application process within the time period provided by the board. It must also be noted that after the applications are completed  the Defective Verification and the Institute Verification of the applications will be conducted on November 15, 

2020. 

CSS Scholarship Guidelines

Eligibility 

Only those candidates who have an income not more than Rs. 8 Lakh per year and have secured more than 80 percentile in the class 12 board exams are eligible to apply for the CSS Scholarship Scheme. Candidates applying fresh will also be required to submit the income certificates.

Scholarship Amount

The candidates selected for the scholarship scheme will receive Rs. 10,000 per year at the graduation level for the first three years of college and university courses and the postgraduate students will receive Rs. 20,000 per year. Students studying professional courses will receiveRs. 20,000 per year in the fourth and fifth years of the programme.
