Colleges in Gujarat have been allowed to conduct offline examinations for the students in July 2021. The examinations will be conducted in pen and paper mode for the final semester undergraduate and postgraduate students. According to the announcement made by the State Education Department, since the number of COVID-19 cases is on a decline in the state, permission to conduct offline exams has been given to the colleges.it is however the decision of the college whether to conduct the exams or not.
According to reports, many of the universities have planned to conduct the examinations for the students in the online mode from July onwards. The students who have not opted for the online exams will be able to appear for the offline examinations.
With the rising COVID-19 cases in the second wave of the pandemic, the Gujarat government had cancelled all the university exams for the undergraduate programmes except for the final year students.
The government had earlier announced that the students will be promoted based on merit and without exams but with the improving situation the government has given the colleges permission to conduct offline exams for the students.
Gujarat Board 10th results declared
The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has declared the GSEB Class 10 Results 2021 on the official website. The students awaiting the Gujarat Board results can now visit the respective schools to get the results. The class 10 students were evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set by the board since the examinations were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
