The Indian Scholastic Assessment also known as ND-SAT has been postponed. The announcement was made by Union HRDMinister Ramesh Pokhriyal on his official Twitter handle. According to the notification provided, the IND-SAT 2020 examinations scheduled to be conducted on May 30, 2020, have been postponed.
The IND-SAT 2020 examinations have been postponed by the conducting body due to the COVID-19 lockdown in the country. The lockdown was extended by the central government until May 31, 2020, which is the last day for the fourth phase of the nationwide lockdown.
According to the notification provided, the examinations are scheduled to be conducted in July 2020. The revised dates for IND-SAT 2020 examinations will be announced on the official website soon. Candidates interested to apply for the examination are advised to visit the official website - studyinindia.gov.in.
The Indian Scholastic Assessment - Scholastic Assessment Test is scheduled to be conducted in the exam centres in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mauritius, Nepal, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. The IND-SAT is a standardized online test conducted for international students seeking scholarships with Study in India.
The examination will be conducted in English for a duration of 90 minutes in the online mode. The questions acted will be objective type with sections including Verbal, Quantitative Analysis, Logical reasoning. The IND-SAT examination is conducted to gauge the capability and tenacity of the students applying for the courses in India. The IND-SAT scores will be considered as a criterion to shortlist the meritorious students for the allocation of scholarships for the students.
