
JAC 10th and 12th Result 2021: As per the reports, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has completed the class 10th, 12th result tabulation process. Therefore it is expected to be announced in a day or two. As per the sources, the results are expected to be announced latest by 25th July 2021. Students who have registered earlier for class 10 and 12 exams can check the official website - jac.jharkhand.gov.in for more details. Also, this year, the state government would not be releasing any merit list.
As per the official data, this year a total of 4 lakh students are expecting class 10th results. However, a total of 3.7 lakh students from class 12th have been waiting for the announcement of the JAC results 2021 date. This year the board exams were cancelled due to COVID-19. Therefore, the result will be declared based on marks obtained in previous classes.
Evaluation Criteria of Class 10th and 12th
As per the reports, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will prepare the class 10th and 12th board results based on the marks secured in previous classes. For class 10, the results will be prepared with the marks of class 9th while for class 12th, the evaluation will be based on the marks achieved in class 11th. Also, classes 9th and 11th OMR sheets will be used for the evaluation of marks for classes 10th and 12th results. 80% theory and 20% practical will be given weightage.
Subjects that do not include practical exams will be marked using internal assessment criteria. The state government will set up a committee to look after the processing of classes 10th and 12th marks and also the preparation of results.
Jharkhand Class 10th and 12th Exam
As per the sources, JAC will only release the date of the students who progressed to the next class. JAC results 2021 will be graded into the first division, second division and third division accordingly. Last year, 75.01% and 82.53% students had passed class 10 and 12 examinations respectively. Earlier, the Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced that classes 10th and 12th exams are cancelled this year due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases. Many other states have also cancelled the matric and intermediate exams.
