How to avoid Fake News on Entrance Exams?
The current situation due to COVID-19 lockdown has impacted the education domain in a major way. Right from school closures to exam postponements, the entire academic calendar has been thrown out of gear due to the coronavirus pandemic. Such times also lead to rumour mongering and circulation of fake news to mislead students about the exam dates for major exams including JEE Main, NEET UG 2020, UGC NET 2020 and other aspects by releasing fake notifications that look identical to official ones. To avoid falling in trap of fake news, students and candidates appearing for entrance exams are advised to only refer the official websites of the exam authorities i.e. NTA, IITs and others for updates. Alternatively, they can also rely on leading and trusted education websites such as jagranjosh.com for authentic and verified news about exam dates and result dates.
