JNV 9th Admission 2021: NVS Starts Registration For Class 9th Admission at navodaya.gov.in for Lateral Entry Test

NVS has started the registration procedure for JNV Class 9 Admissions 2021 for the lateral entry test. The Class 9 registration process for JNV Selection Test will be held till 31st October 2021. Know how to apply here

JNVST 9th Admission 2021: As per the updates, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the registration form for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) class 9 admission 2021 for lateral entry test. Candidates can apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) till 31st October 2021. Those who want to take admission in Class 9 can apply online through the official site of NVS on navodaya.gov.in. Only those candidates who are studying Class 8th during the academic session 2021-22 in one of the Govt./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought are eligible.

How to Apply for JNVST 9th Admission 2021?

The registration for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test can be done in online mode. Candidates will have to visit the official website to fill the NVS registration form. To apply for the exam, they can follow the steps provided below -

  • Step 1 - Go to the official site of Navodaya Vidyalaya - navodaya.gov.in.
  • Step 2 - Click on JNV Class 9 Admissions 2021 link, on the home page.
  • Step 3 - A new page will appear. Candidates can login to the account after registration.
  • Step 4 - Fill in the application form and pay the application fees.
  • Step 5 - Click on submit.
  • Step 6 - Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test

The Selection Test for admission to Class 9th will be conducted on 9th April 2022 (Saturday) in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district/ any other centre allotted by NVS. The exam will be held for 2 hours 30 minutes. The medium of the examination will be English/ Hindi and students will have to answer in the OMR sheet. The question paper will likely have questions from - English, Hindi, Maths and Science. Further, the merit list will be released as per NVS selection criteria.
