Kerala University Exams sixth semester examinations are scheduled to be conducted by the university from June 15, 2021. The examinations are set to be conducted in offline mode. The Higher Education Minister conducted a meeting with the vice-chancellors of the different universities in the state to decide on the university exams and as per reports, most of the VC’s suggested offline examinations for the students.
The Kerala University semester examinations were postponed in April amidst the COVID-19 pandemic however in a recent meeting it was decided to conduct the Kerala University examinations.
Thiruvananthapuram PM Shashi Tharoor has however opposed the conducting of university examinations. As per a tweet put by the Minister it is irresponsible that the sixth-semester university exams are scheduled from June 15. He further added that pushing the students into circumstances endangering their lives is unjust. He has also urged the state government to put all exams on hold or conduct them online.
However, reports suggest that with the university examinations and other examinations being postponed by the state governments across the country due to the COVID-19 situation it can be expected that the Kerala University exams will also be postponed since the students are also facing the impact of the pandemic.
Examinations including state board exams and national level entrance examinations are being postponed by the conducting bodies due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the country. Many of the exams have been postponed until further notice due to the uncertainty in the present situation.
