Odisha Matric Exam 2020 Datesheet: BSE Odisha has formally announced the Odisha HSC Exam 2020 Dates for the Class 10 students. According to media reports, the exam dates were announced and confirmed by the Odisha Board in a formal press briefing. As per the details available, the BSE Odisha will conduct the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination from 19th February 2020 onwards for different subjects. The exam would conclude on 2nd March 2020 when the final exam paper will be held by the Board. With the exam dates already announced, the Board is expected to release the detailed subject-wise marksheet for Odisha Board soon. Matric Exam Dates Confirmed by BSE Odisha President
As per media reports, the Odisha HSC Exam 2020 Dates were formally announced by BSE Odisha President Ramsis Hazra in a press meeting. In his address, he said that the Matric Exam 2020 for Class 10 students of Odisha will commence from 19th February 2020 and will continue until 2nd March 2020. In between these days, the Board will hold exams for all the core / key subjects as well as for vocational subjects that are part of Class 10 syllabus as well.
HSC Exam for All Streams To Be Held Together
In addition to the exam dates, in the press meeting, BSE Odisha Controller of the Examination Nihar Ranjan Mohanty also said that “all streams of the matriculation examination like regular, ex-regular, correspondence, state open school certificate and madhyama (Sanskrit) examinations will be held on different days between February 19 and March 2.” This means that between period of 19th February to 2nd March 2020, all exams will completed by the board easily.
Exam Time Slot Details
Following the announcement regarding the exam dates, the Odisha Board officials also confirmed that all the papers for Class 10 students will be held in the morning session i.e. from 10 am and 12.30 pm. BSE Odisha Controller of the Examination Nihar Ranjan Mohanty also added that students will be provided a period of 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam to go through the exam paper to help them familiarize with the exam pattern and other details. Apart from this Mr Mohanty also announced that from 2020 exam onwards, the board has also decided to do away with the MCQ / Multiple Choice Questions format for Matric exams. Over six lakh students are expected to appear the state matriculation examinations this time in different streams, sources said.
