The Directorate of Higher Education, Assam has developed a portal to generate a Unique ID for the students who wish to secure an admission in the universities and colleges in the state. According to the official notification available on the website, the candidates who wish to secure an admission in the state-run university and colleges can visit the official website of the Directorate of Higher Education for further information. It is a mandatory requirement for the students to generate Unique ID for online admissions.

According to the details provided in the official notification, the students who wish to secure an admission in the universities and colleges in the state are required to generate the unique ID in the portal even if they have filled the application forms for the admission process. As per this notification, the students who have applied for the admissions in the websites of the different colleges and universities of the state or have already taken the online admissions are to generate the Unique ID from the Directorate of Higher Education portal.
Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma previously announced that the admissions to the Higher Secondary Institutes in the state will be conducted online this academic year. The online applications are available on the official website - anneswan.sebaonline.org.
