Assam CEE 2016 is basically an engineering entrance examination that helps in selecting deserving and eligible candidates for the offer admissions in B.Tech/B.E. professional degree programs for session 2016-17. This exam will be conducted by Dibrugarh University, Assam in the offline mode right in the 3rd week of May 2016. The medical interested candidates applying for the MBBS/BDS courses must appear in course option 1 that includes PCB or Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 2. The candidates must have passed class 12th or other qualifying examination with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Maths. For reserved category candidates this percentage criteria is 45%.
The Assam CEE 2016 result will be declared after the completion of examination 2016. The candidates who qualify the Assam CEE 2016 exam are called for the counseling and admission to the engineering and medical colleges is based on the rank scored by the candidates in the Assam CEE exam 2016.

• The candidates appearing for the exam must hold a domicile of the Assam state
• The candidates must have passed class 12th or other qualifying examination with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology/Math’s. For reserved category candidates the percentage criteria is 45%
• The candidate applying for the exam must be 17 to 21 years of age as on August 1, 2015. The relaxation up to 3 years in upper age limit is provided to reserved category candidates and 1 year to graduate candidates
