The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted every year by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for various courses. As per the official notification, the Karnataka Board has started the online registration procedure for all the interested students. The window for the online correction in the data submitted by the students is open till 31st March 2018.

After KCET 2018 Result Declaration

In all likelihood, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2018 will be held in the month of April with results being announced in the last week of May or first week of June. Post announcement, the candidates will be able to check their KCET 2018 Result on the official website. Along with displaying the Karnataka CET Result on the computer screen, the official website will also allow candidates to download a digital copy or take a printout of the Karnataka CET 2018 scorecard for future reference. The KCET scorecard will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the three papers consisting of 60 question each from Physics, Mathematics and Biology + Chemistry.

After the result declaration, the students will also be able to check their merit, which will be prepared on the basis of KCET 2018 Result and marks in qualifying Class 12 examination. On the basis of KCET merit, the students will be called in for document verification followed by a state level KCET 2018 counseling, where the students will be allotted seats as per their merit standing. The KCET counseling is likely to commence in the second week of June.

KCET Admit Card 2018

Admit card is considered as one of the most important documents for the candidates who are appearing for the KCET 2018 examination. The admit card of KCET 2018 will be released by the authorities of KEA in online mode April 10, 2018 for all the candidates who have successfully submitted their applications.

The KCET 2018 admit card will include all the important information like candidate's name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, time, venue and instructions. Therefore, it will be important for candidates to carry their Karnataka CET (KCET) 2018 admit card to the examination hall.

KCET Answer Key 2018

  • The board officials of KCET 2018 will provide the provisional and final answer keys to the candidates who will be appearing for the examination.
  • The provisional answer key of KCET 2018 will be released for candidates to check their answers with the ones provided by the experts.
  • The candidates can raise objections in the provisional answer key but with valid proof. In that case, the admission committee will take the required steps and will release the final answer key for candidates.
  • The KCET 2018 answer key will help the candidates calculate their probable score and hence estimate their ranks in the entrance exam.

Karnataka CET - KCET 2018 Eligibility

There is certain eligibility criterion for the candidate. The candidates are required to pass the Class 12th or equivalent examination, as recognised by the state or the central education board. There are compulsory subjects in the qualification examination include Mathematics and Physics. There are optional subjects including any of the following such as Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biology. It is necessary for the students to have English as subject of language. The minimum aggregate percentage required in the qualifying examination is 45%.

Karnataka CET (KCET) 2018 Counseling

The counseling for KCET 2018 Exam is conducted after the declaration of the result. The CET Karnataka Counseling will be held in two rounds and only those candidates can participate in it who has qualified the KCET 2018. The candidates can fill in their respective preferences, courses, colleges and seats.
