Age will be reckoned as on 1 January 2013. Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for APST & SC / ST category candidates.

Vision
Both Eyes: Distance Vision – Better eye (corrected vision): 6 / 6; Worse eye (corrected vision): 6 / 12;
Near Vision – J1 (corrected); J2 (corrected);
Candidates should not be colour blind.
Candidates should be free from any physical deformity like squint eye, knock knee, bow leg, dismembered fingers etc
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through a multi-stage process involving Scrutiny of Documents, Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, Written Examination, Interview and Medical Examination.
Candidates would be required to produce all documents in Original for verification at the time of Scrutiny of Documents, failing which their candidature would be rejected.
Written Examination would be conducted separately for both the posts.
For the post of Driver: Candidates clearing / qualifying the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Trade Test would be allowed to appear for the 200 marks written test.
For the post of Mechanic: Candidates clearing / qualifying the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) would be allowed to appear for the 300 marks written test.
Exact Date, time & Venue for each stage of recruitment process will be notified separately. However, the recruitment process is schedule to be conducted centrally at 1st AAPBN parade ground, Chimpu, Itanagar.
Application fees: Non-refundable Application fees has to be paid through a Treasury Challan of Rs. 10 (APST / SC / ST category candidates) / Rs. 40 (for General and other category candidates), drawn in favour of “Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Old PHQ Ganga, Itanagar” under Head of Account “0070” Fire & Emergency Services, Arunachal Pradesh.
How to Apply: Interested eligible male candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of required certificates / documents and Treasury Challan as fees to “Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Old PHQ Ganga, PO: R K Mission, Itanagar, PIN: 791 113, Arunachal Pradesh” so as to reach the said office by 30 October 2013 up to 1600 hours.
Application can also be submitted directly by hand at “Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Old PHQ Ganga, PO: R K Mission, Itanagar, PIN: 791 113, Arunachal Pradesh” till the prescribed last date.
On the envelope containing the application, candidates should clearly mention “Name of the Post applied for” (Application for the post of HC Driver / Mechanic).
