Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established by Government of NCT of Delhi. The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. Popularly known as IP University by its students, the university has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment as Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor: 36 posts across 13 subjects (Architecture (6), Basic and Applied Sciences (1), Environment (4), CSE/IT (7), ECE (4), Mechanical (1), Electrical (1), Law (3), Management (5), Education (2), and Chemical Technology (2).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Professor in Law, Humanities and Social Sciences:  Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with Good Academic record. Regarding NET, UGC guidelines shall be followed wherever applicable from time to time.
• Assistant Professor for Architecture: First Class Graduation (Architecture); OR Graduation (Architecture) and First Class Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Assistant Professor (Other): Postgraduate degree (Ist class or a equivalent) in relevant discipline. For the Candidates not having qualification of M.Tech/ MBA, a Doctoral Degree is a must. Regarding NET, UGC guidelines shall be followed wherever applicable from time to time.

Work Experience: One year teaching experience as Visiting teacher

Selection Process: Applicants who fulfil the above mentioned eligibility criteria shall be selected through an interview to be held at the University.

Application Fee and Mode of Payment

The application fee is Rs 500 for all candidates except SC/ST/ PWD and must be paid through demand draft in the name of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
