Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a state-owned electronics company with about nine factories, and few regional offices in India. It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. It invites application from eligible candidates for the posts mentioned below at it Ghaziabad Unit.

Name of the Post & Number of Vacancies

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 21 vacancies (Mechanical 6, Electronics 15)
• Technician ‘C': 19 vacancies (Electronics/ Radio Mechanics 12, Mechanical/ Fitter 5, Electrical/ Electrician 5)
• Clerk- cum- Computer Operator ‘C' (CCOP): 7 posts (BBA 2, BCom 5)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering with 65% Marks (aggregate of all years)
• Technician ‘C': ITI + 1 year apprenticeship training or 3 years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course with 65% Marks (aggregate of all years)
• Clerk- cum- Computer Operator ‘C' (CCOP): Three years full time Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with 65% Marks (aggregate of all years)

Age Limit (as on 30 June 2011): Maximum 25 years (for all posts)

Remuneration

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Rs 4000 as stipend for 1 Year Training after completion of training Graded to WG-VII/ CP-VI, Rs 10050- 3%- 25450 + *DA + 30% HRA and 40% Perks of annual Basic.
• Technician ‘C': WG- IV/ CP-V, Rs 8740- 3%- 22150 + *DA + 30% HRA and 40% Perks of annual Basic.
• Clerk- cum- Computer Operator ‘C' (CCOP): WG- IV/ CP-V, Rs 8740- 3%- 22150 + *DA + 30% HRA and 40% Perks of annual Basic.

* DA revised every quarter. Present rate is 47.2% of Basic

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category need to pay a fee of Rs 300 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates is Rs 100. The application fees need to be paid in the form of Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque drawn on any Scheduled Bank (preferably State Bank of India) payable at Ghaziabad in favour of ‘Bharat Electronics Limited' favouring BHEL, New Delhi.

Selection Procedure: A combined merit list (based on aggregate percentage of marks) comprising of candidates sponsored by the Employment Exchange and those applying against this advertisement will be prepared and a limited number of candidates only will be called for the Written Test. 

Call letters for written test will be sent to the short-listed candidates by post. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview. Final selection will be based on the overall performance in the written test and interview.
