Canara Bank has announced recruitment of 2000 Probationary Officers. The recruitment process will start from 30 January 2012 and will end on 15 February 2012

Canara Bank has announced recruitment of 2000 General Banking Officers in Scale-I (Probationary Officers). The recruitment process of the bank will start from 30 January 2012 and will end on 15 February 2012.

Candidates who have completed their graduation and possess a valid IBPS Score can apply for the post. The detailed advertisement for recruitment of the post will be available from 28 January 2012.

Canara Bank was founded by Shri Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, a great visionary and philanthropist, in July 1906, at Mangalore, then a small port in Karnataka. The Bank has 3057 branches in India spread over all states/ union territories and has 2000 ATMs- one of the highest among nationalized banks- covering 732 centres, 2681 branches providing Internet and Mobile Banking (IMB) services and 2091 branches offering 'Anywhere Banking' services.
