Every year CAT exam conducting body releases the list of the toppers and this year IIM Kozhikode is at the helm of the affairs to release the list of the CAT 2019 toppers.
Complete List of CAT 2019 Toppers
As per the media reports, this year, 10 toppers have scored a perfect 100 percentile in the CAT 2019 exam and 21 candidates have score 99.99 percentile. Among the 100 percentilers, four candidates belong to the state of Maharashtra and the rest are natives of Jharkhand, Telangana, Karnataka, Uttrakhand, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Majority of the students scoring 99.99+ percentile have engineering background.

CAT 2018 Topper’s List
Last year, IIM Calcutta that conducted the CAT Exam had released an official CAT toppers press release citing the names of 11 candidates who scored 100 percentile in the exam. All the candidates belong to the engineering background.
The CAT 2018 result is out and it is time that we announce the list of CAT toppers who have proved their metal with their exceptional performance in the MBA entrance exam. Every year CAT exam conducting body releases the list of the toppers and this year IIM Calcutta is at the helm of the affairs to release the list of the CAT 2018 toppers.
Before releasing the list of the toppers, a press release from IIM Calcutta says that this year 11 CAT takers have scored a complete 100 percentile in the exam. All the candidates belong to the engineering background. Further, 21 aspirants have scored 99.99 percentile and 19 out of these 21 candidates also belong to the engineering background. To add more to the achievements of the candidates, this year a 17-year old girl from Talengana 'Samhitha Kasi Batta' has also cracked CAT exam with 95.95 percentile. She is the youngest candidate to crack CAT exam with a good percentile.
A total of 2,09,405 candidates had appeared for the CAT 2018 exam which was conducted on 25th Nov in onine format across 147 test centers. CAT 2017 Toppers
As per the initial reports, a total of 20 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in CAT 2017. The trend is very similar to last year’s CAT Result where 20 CAT toppers had scored the perfect score.
One major difference that was witnessed in this year’s CAT Result 2017, especially in the profile of CAT 2017 toppers was that women candidates and non-engineering candidates managed to enter the list of toppers. Last year, in CAT 2016 Result, all male engineers managed to top the toughest MBA entrance exam; this year two female candidates and three MBA aspirants from non-engineering backgrounds made it to the elite list of CAT 2017 toppers.

CAT 2017 Results: The Way Ahead
The announcement of CAT 2017 Result and the names of CAT 2017 toppers is just the beginning of the screening or admission process for IIMs and other top MBA colleges in India. Following the declaration of the CAT 2017 Results, the respective IIMs and other top B-schools in India will initiate the short-listing process to select the best candidates suited for their MBA academic programmes.
The process would include Written Ability Test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI) and/or Group Discussion (GD) rounds as part of the screening test. Those candidates who are able to crack these additional rounds will be able to secure a seat in the premier MBA colleges in India.
As per official estimates, IIMs are expected to shortlist around 20000 candidates for final admission rounds and of that nearly 5000 candidates would be offered admission to the upcoming MBA batch in top 20 IIMs across the country.
MBA aspirants who have not managed to secure the perfect score of 100 percentile in CAT 2017 need not be disappointed. In past there have been several instances where IIMs and other best MBA colleges have shortlisted candidates with lower percentile scores, based upon their academic or work profiles.
