Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII exam is going to be tough this year. Question paper pattern is shifting from “Objective-Type” to “Application-based”. This will be significantly much harder for students to score good marks.
The changed question paper pattern was revealed only after the sample papers were released. While the number of questions in subjects such as political science, economics, business studies and accountancy has been reduced; at the same time, the number of "long answer" questions has been increased and two-three markers reduced. In addition to this, all the six mark type questions won’t be having any option.
Going against the allegations of late information, one CBSE Official has said that such changes are always based on the subject committee recommendations. Though schools maintain that changes were announced late, CBSE claims this information was available as part of "curriculum documents" for a year.
The All India CBSE Class 12 Exam is going to start on 02 March 2015, nationwide.
